Day two, is just as bad as one.

Felt nice and sore all day, gathered up my share of "Jesus you look tired"s.
Managed a 30 minute plyo day after my usual bike ride of 10 miles.
Sydney joined in! Pulled down 20 minutes of the workout!

FAIL.

We also took a week off. I got super sick drinking on Sunday and that ruined everything.

I just can't keep to a workout routine. If I miss a day or so, it just goes downhill exponentially from there :( Really disheartening.
Maybe I'll just start running again?
HAH.
Hopefully we'll get back into it. *sigh*

Week 5 Team IN

I was bad and took a week off...not on purpose but I got behind. So...the Chest,Shoulder, Triceps workout kicked my butt. Plyometrics kicked my ASS.

Laura is being creepy and reading over my shoulders. We are getting ready to work out!
Go NC team!

I want my stomach fat to go away.

And I want salads at home.

Bah.

Just keeping pressing play...some times its so hard to do.

Finished up my second round of Core Synergistics today. My abs feel as if they are about to burst out of my stomach. I can't really see results yet but I feel them. The exercises are a little less difficult to perform and I'm not cursing at Tony as often.

Lets keep up the hard work NC team. Next week starts PHASE 2!

Do your best, forget the rest!

A lot better this week!
Core on Tuesday, Plyo on Wednesday, Shoulders + Arms on Thursday, and Chest + Biceps yesterday.
Bryan and I were getting too burned out on the legs. After failing this weekend and getting back on Tuesday, my quads were almost still immediately tired during Core. I don't know. I think somehow I did too much too fast. So I'm still going to take it easy on my legs.
Chest + Biceps felt GREAT-- what a great workout, you can really feel it and you get dead tired at the end. Awesome. Just what I wanted.
I need to do Ab Ripper-- we forgot on Thursday. I think today is Kenpo and Abs? We'll see.

We stopped sticking to a routine, so now we're just doing workouts. But I think that can be okay, especially if we take out the "90" in P90X and just keep working out at our leisure. We'll see....

Team Indiana, how goes the battle?

I still wish I could see results faster. I don't go by my weight because it fluctuates too much and I know I've put on muscle. But my stomach is still gross to me! Hopefully, that'll change in the next month. Woo!

Failing super hard

Yeah Laura, I know lol.
Friday I was out filming all day and could NOT do the workout. Same again on Saturday afternoon. Then, again, we failed at working out on the weekend. I'm not doing doubles this week again, I'm just going to pick up where I left off, but with changes.

I don't want super thighs! I was not that happy that they grew so fast. I want a flatter stomach, less love handles, stronger upper body, more endurance, etc. So I think I'm going to maybe tailor the workout to that-- I want less leg-intensive. Maybe I'll get out running again for some cardio and endurance.
But I have been doing poorly on keeping up with this program. It's just so damn hard with school when there's a billion things going on. *sigh* Why is it so hard to stick to a certain time?!?! We do so well at the start and then fail. And all the infomercials with people that
really need to lose weight, they can do it! THEY stick with it, but not me.

I'm going to do better because I want this. I want more strength and endurance, and I want to be in better shape, and I want to slim down a bit. So I'll keep pushing. I will NOT get discouraged.

And yeah, we took measurements early because we wanted to see some change in smaller increments-- same with the photos (we just haven't put them up yet-- no change there though).
TONY? I'm working on it.

Dear Team NC

Lisa -- don't work out before you go to bed! You're supposed to have a post-workout meal within 1hr after exercise. Your muscles need that.

You guys took your measurements one week too early!!

NO to doing >1 workout thing each day. Tony doesn't want you to do that!! Lisa, you already gained 2 inches on your thighs. SLOW DOWN, WOMAN!

In other news...we think your team is winning. We keep slacking off to get shit done downtown or on the house. But today is my new workout and Mark is doing legs+back, methinks. I will probably do new workout + legs+back, since mine is only 30min and his is 1hr.

SLOW THE FUCK DOWN, YOU GUYS!

OW. Never. Again.

Legs x 3.
I don't need to do ANYTHING ELSE to my damn quads. Seriously.
Legs+Back and Kenpo one day and Plyo the next? Fuck that shit.

I'm with Laura; cardio is what drops the weight. I'm looking for more upper body strength though, especially for rock climbing. And I want to be more flexible, and stronger overall. But I feel like this is just destroying my legs lol. I want my stomach toned, and to shave off a few pounds.
I should get back to running some when I can-- for Rikku too.

BAH. And NEVER workout at 11:45 at night. STUPID.

Laura's brand new workout!

So Mark took a pic of me on Sunday after we bought our BRAND NEW CAMERA (cue Animation Show music) and I was like EEEWWWWW tummy+butt fat.

So yesterday and today my workout was as follows:
30 minutes on treadmill, 5-10min with 3lb weights -- target calorie burn: 250. Tomorrow+ will be incrementally up by 50 calories each day.
30 sit-ups
200 arm circles
30 crunchy frogs
10 push-ups
50 Mason twists
Try to do some oblique lifts
20 squats
Lunges

I think I'll try to do the treadmill + core synergistics tomorrow. I need cardio more. Strength less. I DON'T WANT TO BE DURABLE.

I'M not trying to bulk up my biceps & triceps. Ew.

Doubles again!

*Legs+Back. 15 minutes from now, Kenpo.
*Tomorrow is Plyometrics and Ab Ripper.
*Wednesday is Core Synergistics and Shoulders+Arms.
THEN we'll be back up to speed for Cardio on Thursday--maybe we'll do something extra that day too just to beef it up. Yeesh.

This is not happening again. Damnit. Doubles are okay for one day, but not three. YIKES.
I hate it, but I love it :) My quads are getting intense. My biceps have gained some mass I think, and my triceps too. We'll have to take measurements in a few days. And I think we'll do pictures soon. If not then definitely at the 30-day marker.
Week 3 guys, let's do this!
