Team Exploding High-Five: Day 2

Mark couldn't handle the Plyometrics; that's what killed me last time I tried P90X. I cried after 20min.
So, he hung out w/me in the Cardio X room. Still SO HARD. I had brain trouble with all the jabs and kicks. It's like starting the Wii Fit punching bag.. Very confusing.

I complained and my head really hurt, and my face turned all red :(. I really think getting up at 6am with NO FOOD in my tummy is a horrible way to work out. We might try working out after we get home? Not sure.

Team NC has the advantage -- NO 8-5 JOBS with meetings & lots of projects, plus a 30min drive home.


Weather: rain. 32 degrees. Dog licks.

  1. Getting up at 6am with no food IS horrible. Definitely try after you get home. And have maybe a snack before you leave work or something to get some calories in you (and water!). And definitely start trying to eat some breakfast maybe? I'm trying to do oatmeal + some bran + soymilk, which gets my complex carb and my protein. You can do scrambled eggs, whole wheat toast or cereal, etc.

    But man, yeah, morning workouts, I wish I could do those, but I just can't move in the morning at all-- and you're already stiff from sleep. There's no way I could do that lol.

    Also, dog licks made me go "aww" lol.
